I believe that in our truest of nature that people will never know who we really are. Are genuine intentions. While some of us (and it's a very few) are given the gift of true realization and understanding, most will forever be clouded by their false sense of reality. Those given this special insight have to choose wisely how they react to others and the situations that they are confronted with. Most times we are misunderstood, judged, and ridiculed. Which leads me to believe that isolation is most times the best answer to problems. Locking away emotions, separating our truths in order to make others feel comfortable. But there comes a time when you are faced with the method of protection you have built for yourself in order to protect yourself and the others who have made a place in your life. How do you confront that? With more isolation? Of course not. Then a battle within yourself begins to rage between your mind and heart and you slowly you lose sense of yourself. All of your being begins to spill out in loads, and there's not enough paper towel to soak it all back up. I'm currently in this battle and feel like I'm losing. When will what's true begin to come back into focus?
